Hi, I’m Simone. My co-writer and I have written a book. That’s the sum of it.

It’s called “DET MAN FÅR” which in English translates to “WHAT YOU GET”, it’s a novella (about 35K words long) and an epistolary, fragmentary story of how the new prime minister of Ludon, a fictional Central-European country, begins corresponding by letter with her colleague, former foreign minister, and a wanted fugitive. The setting and the plot outside the letters is portrayed through articles, Instagram entries and other official channels and documents. It is not an “easy” read. It requires something of its reader, an attentiveness to detail and a curiosity to understand the connections throughout the novella. But we would like to think, it is a satisfying read even so.

It has been available in online stores for almost a week now and sales are minimal, but sales were never the reason we wrote this book. It has an important story to tell, about found family, character growth, forgiveness and the idea versus the practice of justice.
